Randy Steiner is as old, and as young, as the Space Age. He has been actively involved with Space and astronomy as an adult for 25 years. Randy was the first member of his club to complete the Astronomical League's Messier Program, as well as three others. He has completed research proposals to use the HST, and has observed about 60 comets since the first apparition of Halleys Comet January 1986. He is an active member and participant of Central Valley Astronomers of California. He graduated from college at CSUFresno cum laude as the Dean's Medal recipient for the School of Education and Human Development. Randy maintained a perfect 4.0 GPA completing his teaching credential program for grades K-6. His passions, besides astronomy, includes geology, and collecting meteorites and fossils.
