Renée Gamba is the Director at the Museum of Natural History and Cormack Planetarium in Providence, Rhode Island. She received her BS from Bryant University and recently earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from Roger Williams University. She has worked at the Museum for over 9 years, and is responsible for the management and development of the Roger Williams Park Museum of Natural History and Cormack Planetarium, including exhibit design, research and development of new Planetarium programs and programming of Planetarium equipment, marketing, and oversees all functions and operations including curatorial, education, planetarium programming, visitor services, and public relations. Renée Gamba is also the Outreach Director for the Krupowicz Planetarium at Gaudet Middle School in Middletown, Rhode Island. She has worked with staff from NASA RI Space Grant Consortium, NASA Northeast Regional Planetary Data Center, and NASA Centers on a variety of science programming and exhibit offerings at the Museum. When she isn¿t devoting her time and expertise to science education programming development and facilitation, she can be found with her three Jack Russell Terriers at dog trials and performances in New England and the East Coast, along with martial arts black belt training.
