Richard Stember is the father of two boys, an entrepreneur and an avid amateur astronomer. He is the founder of Scopes-4-Schools, Inc. a non-profit organization that he setup in 2008 to arrange donations of telescopes to public schools for use in science education.
After working for several years for scientific equipment manufacturers he founded LABTrack, LLC. There Richard invented and introduced the world's first commercial electronic laboratory notebook, a software application designed to help scientists, engineers and researchers work collaboratively and better manage their notes and files. Thousands of researchers around the world and from many different scientific fields currently use his LABTrack ELN software.
Richard has Bachelor¿s degree in Chemistry from the State University College of New York, Oneonta.
