Richard Stember is the father of two boys, an entrepreneur and an avid amateur astronomer. He is the founder of a non-profit organization that arranges donations of telescopes to public schools for use in science education.
After working for several years for scientific equipment manufacturers he founded his own company. There Richard invented and introduced the world's first commercial electronic laboratory notebook, a software application designed to help scientists, engineers and researchers work collaboratively and better manage their notes and files. Thousands of researchers around the world and from many different scientific fields currently use his software.
Richard has a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the State University College of New York, Oneonta.
