Starting in the fall of 2005, Robert is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics and Physics at Adams State College in Alamosa, CO. Prior to coming to ASC, Robert taught Physics, Astronomy and Math at Feather River College in Quincy, CA, where he started an astronomy club and conducted monthly Public Viewing Nights at the school's observatory. Before returning to graduate school, Robert had several careers, including systems engineering in the aerospace industry, computer programming as a consultant, and flight instructing.
Besides keeping up with developments in astronomy and space exploration, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, hiking, biking, camping and exploring in the mountains. His personal hobbies include astronomy, programming, mathematics, electronics, music, and reading.
