Robert
Schmall has been an amateur astronomer for 40 years
and was the first advertising director of ASTRONOMY
magazine before returning to college at the age of 41
as a freshman. He received an MA in American History
in 1991, with many credits toward a PhD. Concurrently
Robert founded and astronomy club, volunteered at two
planetariums, and began teaching continuing education
classes in history and astronomy. He has been a member
of three astronomy clubs, founded one, and plan to found
another in 2005. Robert is a member of both the Astronomical
League and the Association of Lunar and Planetary Observers.
