Robert E. Strong is the director of the West Liberty State College SMART-Center a hands-on science center for science education and teacher training. Robert's intense interest in astronomy and astronomy education is realized by his co-founding the Sir Arthur C. Clarke Near Earth Object Observatory. Robert holds a BA in Physics and is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Space Studies from the University of North Dakota. An avid amateur astronomer, Robert regularly shares his passion for the heavens via local StarWatches and through presentations at a variety of conferences such as the Space Studies Institute Conferences.
