Ron Hobbs is an Educator and Public Programs Assistant at the Museum of Flight, as well as a member of the Museum's Speakers Bureau. He has had a life-long interest in the exploration of space and has spent much of his life teaching and speaking, helping people learn about the wonders of nature within a scientific context. For five summers he was an instructor for the Pacific Crest Outward Bound School, and has taught an experiential astronomy course through the Experimental College at the University of Washington. He has taught and spoken extensively on topics as diverse as herbal medicine, public health, astronomy and mountaineering.
