Sarah Littler is a constant student of all things astronomy. This love of astronomy started at home with her family. Camping trips would open the heavens to Sarah and her sisters, with her father often telling the girls stories of the constellations.
During Sarah's first semester at the University of North Texas, she took an Astronomy course and lab...and loved every minute of it. After the course, Sarah heard of an opportunity to work as a lab assistant for the Astronomy program. The chance to stay in that environment was too wonderful for her to pass up. For the next three and a half years Sarah worked closely with other lab assistants, coming from all different degree plans, and the physics graduate students. Through this educational community setting, her love of astronomy was encouraged and bloomed. Being able to learn and then pass along what she had learned was wonderful.
A few weeks after graduating from UNT in 2008, Sarah interviewed for the position of planetarium assistant at the Museum of Science and History in Fort Worth and got the job. She is loving every moment of it.
