Scott Girard lives in Chugiak (16 miles north of Anchorage), Alaska with his wife and two children. He is employed as an electrical engineer at a local electrical utility. Ever since he was a small child he has been fascinated with astronomy and space exploration and he enjoys sharing this with others. He is an active member of the local astronomy group.
