A
mother of three, I waited until my children were in
school to follow my dream of becoming an educator. I
have taught for 15 years, mostly in fourth and fifth
grades. I was a JASON Project Argonaut and have a strong
interest in both oceans and space. I love to travel,
and especially enjoyed visiting the rainforest of Peru.
