Sonali earned her Bachelor's degrees in Physics and Biology from Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) in 2003 and her M.D. from CWRU in 2007. When not practicing medicine, she occupies herself with a diversity of interests: reading, creative writing (she is a published poet), running, nature/outdoors enthusiast, and traveling. She has been interested in amateur astronomy since the 5th grade, and enjoys sharing her passions and meeting new people through the SSA program.
