Tom Ross is Detroit born, and the son of an autoworker. He was educated in Detroit area schools and attended a local college. He has always had a wide interest base, enjoying everything from nature study, photography and undersea exploration, to astronomy, electronics, ham radio and space exploration. Tom is married to a very understanding wife and has one wonderful daughter. He works as an electrical engineer and department manager at a company in Plymouth. Tom also enjoys fishing, hiking and sci-fi movies.
