Tom Webber's interest in astronomy grew along the sidelines while he was working on his physics degree; however, when presented with the opportunity to work at a planetarium as an undergrad, Tom found he loved the field and had a knack for space and science education. After graduating, he was fortunate to find a job at a local high school planetarium. Recently, he relocated from Tennessee to Florida to become director of the Bryan-Gooding Planetarium at the Museum of Science and History in Jacksonville. As an educator, Tom finds it very rewarding to make astronomy topics accessible and loves to share his enthusiasm for learning with others.
