Todd Jobson has more than twenty years experience as a senior IT enterprise architect/ consultant. He has been working for Sun Microsystems for the past twelve years.
He started in computing and technology during his early teens with Apple's and Commodore computers, writing video games on a Vic20, then C64, and eventually on Amiga's.
Prior to the past twelve years with Sun, Todd ranged from a lead software engineer in charge of real time nuclear power plant systems, to chief architect and technical director, developing, architecting, managing, and integrating large mission critical deployments from U.S. power utilities, casino's, and telecommunication companies to Russian government deployments of real time distributed systems.
In his latter years of design/architecture, Todd created end to end fully integrated systems, custom device drivers, network protocols, Internationalized interfaces and distributed/clustered platforms, ensuring that thorough systems integration and testing resulted in seamless highly available mission citical deployments.
Todd holds a BS in Computer Science and an MBA in Information Technology and is working towards a PhD at Stanford University.
In his spare time, he enjoys astronomy, martial arts, fossil hunting, chess, philosophy, mythology and exploring the great outdoors with his kids.
