Tom Hooten received his MS in Astronomy from Vanderbilt University in 1989. Since then he has been employed as a carpenter, a plumber, an engineer, a physics professor, and a planetarium director. He serves on the board of the Southwest Association of Planetariums and as representative on the Texas Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers. Tom's interests include robotic observatories, variable stars, cosmology, astronomy education, and ultimate questions.
