Woody enjoys playing with, learning about, and evangelizing technology, engineering, science, and all forms of gadgetry.
From an early age, his thirst for how things worked often resulted in taking apart toasters, radios, and other useful items.
After receiving a degree in Chemical Engineering, he embarked on a career in environmental engineering, information technology, and web development. The most rewarding projects have always involved the application of technology to solve problems. During his entrepreneurial exploits, Woody has helped raise over $19 million in venture capital during the height of the dot com craze. Additionally, he co-founded and serves as the Minister of Technology for Eduwhere.com, an online provider of environmental, health and safety training programs. He also works on special information technology projects for North Carolina State University's Industrial Extension Service.
Woody's hobbies include photography, astronomy, geocaching, retrogaming, computing, mountain biking, and volleyball. Most of all, he enjoys taking his three kids to museums, parks, football games, and fishing expeditions.
