Both photos were taken on Feb. 13, 1997 from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania. This was my first clear morning to see the comet. Image one was taken using a 300mm lens at f/4 attached to a home-made barn-door tracker. The exposure was for 60 seconds at 6:10 AM on Fugi super G 800 plus. Image two was taken with a 50mm lens at f/1.7 on a fixed tripod. The exposure was for 60 seconds at 5:50 AM on Fugi super G 800 plus.
