1. Date & Time: April 15, 1997 0120 UT. Exposure: Ricoh Xr10, 50mm lens @ f2, Fuji SuperG 800 ~16 seconds. Just after sunset, the comet outshines the evening star.
2. Date & Time: April 15, 1997 0140 UT. Exposure: Ricoh Xr10, 50mm lens @ f5.6, Fuji SuperG 800 ~30-40 seconds. Even with the artificial light of a major urban residential area and a bright moon rising in the east, Hale-Bopp is still the brightest object in the sky.
