This ST5 CCD image approximages the visual appearance of Comet Hale-Bopp. I estimated the magnitude to be slighty below 3.0 at this point in time. A 65 mm Takahashi Flourite refractor on an EM-1 mount with exposure times of 3 x 60 seconds captured this image. Outside temperature was 0 degrees F. Latitude was 42.7 N.
