This is a tricolor image of Comet Hale-Bopp. Three separate images through the R, G, B filters were combined. A C-102 Refractor was used along with an ST5 CCD camera. The Comet's brightness is steadily increasing. Magnitude is about 2.5-2.8. Latitude 42.7 degrees N. Comet is now entering Sagitta.
Taken in Queensbury, NY USA. Exposures were 15 x 10 seconds Red and Green and 25 x10 seconds Blue. True Techonology filters were used.
