Photograph of Comet Hale-Bopp secured on March 4th, 1997 UT 02:20 with the Schmidt 67/92 cm telescope of the Asiago Observatory. Emulsion: TP4415 Hypered in forming gas + GG14 filter. Field: 3 degrees on the long side of the image. Guide: ST4 on Comet's head. Observer: Giovanni Costa. Note: the small diffused object on a side of the nucleus is the reflection typical of Schmidt cameras.
