Wide-field view of comet Hale-Bopp tails structure, obtained on 1997 Mar. 11 with 2.8/90mm lens, CCD and narrow-band filters. Image was taken in the light of singly ionized water ions centered at 620nm (FWHM=10nm). It shows the ion tail spanning beyond the 7.5 deg image frame. Exposure time was 10 minutes. The field of view is 7.5ox5.0o.
