Both shot the morning of 3/20. The first image was shot with a 35mm SLR piggy-backed to a 6" newtonian and guided for a 2-minute exposure on Fujicolor Super-G 800 film, 100 mm f/2.8 lens stopped to f/4. Location Orchard Mesa, south of Grand Junction, Colorado, USA. Time about 4:45 AM MST.
The second image was shot with a stationary fossil Rolleiflex twin-lens reflex, 75mm f/3.5 normal lens stopped to f/4, 20 seconds on Kodacolor Gold 400. Same location, but after the start of morning astronomical twilight: about 5:10 local time.
