Two images of the comet Hale Bopp taken on February 14 with a Takahashi 102 mm f/6, exp. 5', and Tele Nikon 300 mm f/2.8 (Kodak Express Gold 400 II hyper.) from Col Druscie Observatory (Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy) 1780 mt. The authors are Alessandro Dimai and Piergiorgio Cusinato. The comet was of magnitude 0.9 with an ion tail of ~6 deg. naked eye visible and a diffuse dust tail of ~2.5 deg.
