Two images of comet Hale Bopp taken on 8 june 1996. The images was taken with a Tele Nikon f/2,8 and CCD Hi-Sis 22 from the Col Druscie Observatory (Cortina d'Ampezzo - Italy) by Alessandro Dimai and Giuseppe Menardi (Astronomical Association of Cortina). The exposure time is 270" and the coma diameter is >10' with a faint and diffuse tail south-west oriented. The false color image is an enlargement of the b/w image.
