Two images of the comet Hale Bopp taken on March 11.85 with a Takahashi 102 mm f/6 , exp. 5' (Kodak Express Gold 400 II hyper.) and Tele 35 mm f/2.8, exp. 2' from Val Parola pass (2200 mt), Dolomites - Italy. The author is: Alessandro Dimai. The comet was of magnitude -0.5 with a naked eye visible ion tail of ~10 deg. and a diffuse dust tail of ~5 deg.
