Image of the comet Hale Bopp taken on January 31.25 with a Takahashi 102 mm f/6, exp. 8', and Kodak Express Gold 400 II hyper. from Col Druscie Observatory (Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy) 1780 mt. The autors are: Piergiorgio Cusinato, Alessandro Dimai and Davide Ghirardo The comet was of magnitude 2,0 with a ion tail of ~3 deg. (with Moon at the se cond quarter in the sky). There isn't an Antitail, but a diffuse and large dust tail.
