Two images of the Hale Bopp comet taken on April 03.86 UT with a Tele 100 mm f/2.8, exp. 3' - 35 mm. lens f/2.8, exp. 3'. All images were taken from Col Druscie Observatory. The authors are: Alessandro Dimai and Davide Ghirardo (Astronomical Associ ation of Cortina). The comet was of magnitude -0.9 with a naked eye visible ion tail of ~15 deg. and a diffuse dust tail of ~14 deg.
