Two images of the Hale Bopp comet taken on April 09. The 1st image was taken with a 300 mm lens f/2.8, exp. 3' - Kodak Pro Gold 400 II hipered, The 2nd image is a comparison between comet Hyakutake and Hale Bopp in the same date and region in Perseus near Algol. The authors are: Alessandro Dimai, Renzo Volcan and Davide Ghirardo (Astronomical Association of Cortina) from Col Druscie Obs. The comet was of magnitude -0,4 with a naked eye visible ion tail of 12 deg. and a diffuse and bright dust tail of ~20 deg.
