Image of the comet Hale Bopp taken on February 6 with a Takahashi 102 mm f/6, exp. 8', and Kodak Express Gold 400 II hyper. from Col Druscie Observatory (Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy) 1780 mt. The autors are: Alessandro Dimai and Davide Ghirardo The comet was of magnitude 1.7 with an ion tail of ~5 deg. naked eye visible and a diffuse dust tail of ~2 deg. The Deep Sky Object near Hale Bopp in the globular cluster M 71 in Sagitta.
