The first image was made alongside highway 12 south of the Cedar Island, NC community. 0940 UTC 135mm f 2.5 20 seconds. This turned out to be my "last comet rise" in the "darkest skies" available to me in eastern, central coastal (Cape Lookout), North Carolina.
The second image is one of the first evening ( since last November/December anyway ) images I was able to make. "Reflections of Comet Hale- Bopp" 50mm f 2.0 30 seconds. Viewed over the east prong of the Broad Creek across the road from the Forrest residence.
Third image: 0105 UTC 135mm f 2.5. Shot across the road from the Forrest residence looking across the creek.
