1. Even with high moon illumination and clouds, the Hale-Bopp comet shines through. 0040 UTC 50mm f2.0 30 seconds .

2. Comet Hale-Bopp sets over the Croatan National Forest in Newport, NC near the east prong of the Broad Creek. 0042 UTC 50mm f 2.0 30 seconds.

3. Through the clouds---comet Hale-Bopp. 0045 UTC 135mm f 2.5 20 seconds.

Last bot not least, picturesque Broad Creek as Hale-Bopp sets into the clouds above. 0100 UTC 50mm f 2.0 30 seconds.
