Description: Here is a shot of Comet Hale-Bopp between the feet of Perseus, and closing in on Taurus. The Pleiades (Seven Sisters) are at the far left of the picture. Since I got them in late, few have seen my shots taken on 4/10 of the comet bathed in spectacular aurora, which are now posted in the archive. Check them out to see the consequences of that massive solar flare captured by SOHO. Most of the "solar wind" from that eruption missed us -- whew!
