Hale-Bopp crashing a town ?
This is one of my very first astronomy pictures. Hale-Bopp seems to be crashing down on the town of Godbout. This view is taken from Petit-Matane wich is 60km across the St-Lawrence river.
Taken on March 27, 1997, at about 03:45 gmt (22:45 local time) I used the light of the moon to reveal this snow-covered landscape. (Thanks to M.Dewey Vanderhoff's tips ! ) Nikon N2000, 50mm, f 1.8, 35 seconds on pjm-640 film.
