Date: March 22, 1996 21:40-23:45 UT

First image: taken with a 300 mm lens at F/D 4.5 on Ektar 1000 print film with a 600 s exposure on 03/22/96 at 21:40 UT at Peira Cava (Near Nice in the South of France) at an altitude of 5000 ft. The night was clear, the seeing good. This picture shows the distinct blueish color of the coma and the tails, different jets can be seen. North is up, Arcturus is on the right, outside the field. Second image: taken with a 58 mm lens at F/D 2.8 on Ektapress 1600 print film with a 120 s exposure on 03/22/96 at 22:25 UT at Peira Cava (Near Nice in the South of France) at an altitude of 5000 ft. The night was clear, the seeing good. This picture shows the distinct blueish color of the coma and the tails, North is up, Arcturus is on the right, many knots can be seen in the gas tail and a faint bluish 90=B0 bend can be seen on the right side at the end= of the tail. Third image: taken with a 50 mm lens at F/D 1.8 on Ektar 1000 print film with a 360 s exposure on 03/22/96 at 23:45 UT at Peira Cava (Near Nice in the South of France) at an altitude of 5000 ft. The night was clear, the seeing good. This picture shows the distinct blueish color of the coma and the tails, North is up, Arcturus is on the right, many knots can be seen in the gas tail. this time the bluish 90=B0 bend is more obvious on the right side at= the end of the tail.
