Crni Vrh Observatory Images of Comet 1996 B2 Hyakutake

This image of comet was taken on 1996 Feb. 18 with the 20-cm, f/2 Baker-Schmidt camera, V filter and ST-6 CCD. Exposure time was 300s, starting at 3:37:24UT. The V-band image shows ellipsoidal coma ~14'x16' and ~0.3deg faint tail in PA ~280deg. See also the R-band image, taken with the same instrumentation. Exposure time was 180s, starting at 4:18:23UT.
