Images of the comet 1996B2 taken at march 20 - U.T. 01,30. It is a mosaic of two images of 50" with tele Nikon 300 mm f/2,8 of the Col Druscie Observatory (Cortina d'Ampezzo - Italy) and CCD Hi Sis 22; authors: Alessandro Dimai and Alfonso Pocchiesa and Nicola Boaretto. The magnitude of the comet was 2,0. The comet was a beautiful naked eye object.
The second image, taken al march 20 - U.T. 00,10, is an enlargement of the nuclear region; it's easily visible the plasma tail and a secondary jet.
