March 27, 1996, near Pentwater, Michigan. Slides taken between 2:30 and 5:00 AM local time by David Fideler. 

FILM: Kodak Ektachrome 1600
CAMERA: Pentax K1000 on stationary tripod
LENS: 50mm at F/2.82
EXPOSURES: Both about a minute or so

SCANNER: Howtek D4000 Drum Scanner (10 MB image files). The images were reduced in size and enhanced slightly for brightness, contrast, and sharpness in Photoshop 3.0.

Note: The first bright star to the right of the coma at 45 degrees is Polaris.
