This image of Comet Hyakutake taken at the New England Science Center. To obtain these images, we used a ST-6 CCD camera, manufactured by Santa Barbara Instrument Group.

30 Second Exposure through an 8" f/10 SCT This image was taken after the bright Moon had set, and just before the onset of the morning twilight. At this time the comet was just high enough (24 degrees altitude) to be out of the atmospheric murk.
