This image of Comet Hyakutake taken at the New England Science Center. To obtain these images, we used a ST-6 CCD camera, manufactured by Santa Barbara Instrument Group.

First image: 10 Second Exposure through a 7" Meade Refractor> This was a crisp, cold night, with beautiful conditions. Taken about 3:30 AM, the comet shows a much larger gas cloud than earlier images.
Second image: 5 Second Exposure through a 7" Meade Refractor> Taken a few minutes after 1:00 AM using a red filter. Compare the position of the comet relative to the two bright stars in the upper left to the next image.
