Exposures with the European Southern Observatory (ESO) Schmidt telescope now show an ion tail about 2 degrees long. The films are now on their way from La Silla (Chile) to Garching (Germany) where they will be evaluated. It is expected that images, reproduced from these films, will appear on the ESO home page early next week.
