I've received word from Hal Weaver and Rob Landis that the Hubble Space Telescope will be observing Comet C/1996 B2 (Hyakutake). A HST Target of Opportunity has been activated for the comet. The exact dates haven't been decided yet, but it looks like it will be in the late-March to early-April timeframe, when the comet is closest to Earth.
