First Image
This is a shot of the head and neck region of Comet Hyakutake taken
north of Red Rock Canyon in the Mojave Desert of California. It is a five
minute exposure at 270 mm f3.5 on 3200 TMAX. It was take at 2 am Pacific
time on the morning of March 24th.
Second Image
This is a shot of Hyakutake taken north of Red Rock Canyon on the morning
of March 24th at 1:30 AM using a 50 mm lens at f2 using 1000 ASA Kodak
Royal Gold film. It was a five minute exposure.
Third Image
This is a shot of the comet on the morning of March 24 at 1 am on 3200
TMAX with a 50 mm lens at f2. It was taken from a site north of Red Rock
Canyon in the Mojave Desert of California. The sky was clear of clouds
though hazy because of winds during the day. There was only intermitent
winds at night.
