Comet 1996 B2 Hyakutake Images From LASCO C3 Coronagraph

These pictures were taken yesterday at approx. perihelion. We have put up two pictures one of the comet and one of the comet and the corona. There is a black occulting disk hiding the Sun itself. The radius of the occulter is about 3.7 solar radii. The C3 field of view is 30-32 solar radii - (30 vertically and 32 horizontally). The comet will be in the C3 field of view until May 6, 1996.
