Another near-infrared (2.25-micron) image of the inner dust structure of Hale-Bopp from the NASA IRTF. This one was taken at 0504 UT on 27 April (a good 20 minutes after sunset, we were still slow getting started). The nucleus shows some rotation of the bright jet compared to last night's image. The area shown is 75 arcseconds on a side, with north at the top and east to the left. This was a mean of 10 0.3-second exposures with the facilities NSFCAM array camera.
