IRTF Image of Comet Hale-Bopp

Another 2.25-micron IRTF image of the innermost 75" of the comet, taken on April 28 at 0502 UT. Logarithmic scaling to compress the large brightness range. The IRTF is doing another daylight campaign of Hale-Bopp observations this week (after a major one in early April).
