The weather was marginal for our first night at the sjmmit of Mauna Kea. It did give this striking portrait of Hale-Bopp, the Pleiades and Hyades, and the dome of the 10-meter Keck II telescope. 0603 UT on April 25, 20 seconds, 50mm f/1.8, Kodacolor 1000.
