Hale-Bopp image shot near Bozeman, Montana on Feb. 25, 1997, between 5-5:30am, by Jim Manning (firstname.lastname@example.org), using Kodak ASA400 slide film and a 50mm lens at f/1.7, with the camera mounted on a simple "barn door" hand guider (made by Brian Close as described in the Feb. issue of Scientific American). Exposure time was one minute in a moonlit sky.
