This shows the inner structure of the coma: there are clearly visible hoods and dust waves. Look at these particulars: they surround the nucleus, with variable brightness.
The first image was taken with a 15 cm f/5 reflector telescope, equipped with a SBIG ST-7 CCD camera, 1 min exposure, processed with QMips32 by C. Buil. Location: Ceccano (FR) Italy, 213 meters above sea level.
The second image has been applied with the Larson/Sekanina method to show jets and inner structure.
