Two images of the Hale-Bopp taken on 2 Feb. 1997. They show the comet at two differents hours: the first image was taken at 4.01 U.T.(1 min exposure), with the comet low above the horizont and the second one at 5.21 U.T. (5 min exposure), during the twilight. It is cleary visible the proper motion.
